    Sometimes I enhance my free color pencil art with water dipped tips of color pencil the French ones I have that can get wet not my other newer dry ones which I also paint with.

    Thanks for your comment- that’s an interesting technique! I think you’re referring to water-soluble colored pencil, but correct me if I’m wrong. When wet, water-soluble colored pencil creates an effect that’s quite similar to the fluid acrylic and watercolor that I’ll be using in the workshop. Watercolor and acrylic can be applied on top (or underneath) of colored pencil to help create a more uniform, even coating of color and fill in all the little white specks of paper that colored pencils can’t always fill on their own. And the same effect can be achieved with water-soluble colored pencils, so it sounds like you’re already doing some of the things I’ll be talking about in the workshop!
