I’m still a little confused about using the color wheel (yours or any other version). So, let’s say I pick Blue as my Dominant color. And you’ve said I don’t need to stick with precisely that Blue on the wheel. But…if I add, for example, Yellow to that dominant Blue, I’ll start to tend to the Green. And the Greenish-Blue is a different stop on the wheel. Would that not change the Focal Point and Spice Colors I should be using in that composition?

    Hi Lisa,
When I say that I use many blues, I am keeping those blues in the same color family. They are still definitely blue. You are right in thinking that if you mix too much yellow in your blue, you are shifting the dominant – which changes the focal point color and the spice colors.

    Thank you, Bob!
